Our firewood half pallets are from the same quality Australian hardwood we use to make our custom furniture and flooring. When we de-nail the recycled timbers we have rejects that don’t make the grade and are docked to firewood size. A half pallet includes:
- Between 400-500kg of dry recycled hardwood offcuts - depending on the species
- 1100 x 1100 x 450mm high of firewood (1170x1170x620mm high inc pallet)

Timbers are docked to 300-350mm long with some shorter pieces in the mix. Section size mostly 100x50mm or larger. A small amount of kindling is included to make starting your fire easy
- Half pallet fits on a standard 6x4 trailer rated to 750kg GVM

May occasionally contain very small amounts of softwoods
- Moisture content ranges from 10-16%. It is much lower than normal firewood and these offcuts burn great. It is only beaten by our fire briquettes at 10-12% moisture content (most of our timber goes through our solar kiln for a final dry before machining creates the sawdust our briquettes are made from)
- Some offcuts will have broken off or bent over nails in them. These do not need to be removed before burning. The nails will fall through and can be removed with the ash.
- Firewood is available in a half pallet only, as variations in the timber cause the pallet to become unstable when stacked higher
DELIVERY
We only deliver our firewood within the ACT region. We have two options for delivery:
1. Rigid truck with a tailgate loader and electric pallet jack. Requires a smooth concrete driveway, with 1:10 slope max.
2. Semi trailer and Manitou forklift (clearance 2.1m high x 2.0m wide) for rough ground: As the Manitou is large and heavy, only delivery to the verge can be guaranteed in residential areas, although we will try to place as close as we can to your storage area. In the worst case, you will need to be prepared to move the firewood by hand from the verge into storage. In rural areas the size of the Manitou is usually not an issue.
Once you purchase your firewood we will get in touch with you to find out your delivery preferences. In summer we can deliver within 7 days, but in winter delivery times can extend to 14 days, as we have capacity to deliver a maximum of 8 pallets each week. We can't hold pallets here beyond 14 days for later delivery or collection.

As soon as stock becomes available, we’ll send an alert (SMS and email) to everyone on the list at the same time. Once you get the alert, if you’re still keen to purchase, head straight to the website and place your order.
