We turn our waste sawdust from furniture production into highly efficient, clean burning, recycled sawdust fire briquettes for use in your wood heater.
Using immense hydraulic pressure we compress the sawdust into fire briquettes resulting in a high density product with a very low moisture content (10 - 12%). The natural lignins in the timber form a bond creating the briquette. No glue, no additives, just pure recycled hardwood sawdust.
The result is a clean burning, cost efficient, environmentally friendly heat source for your home. Minimal ash residues, and you can give away your axe!
We make 2-3 briquette pallets per week, and spring/summer is the best time to place an order. If you wait to make an order until autumn/winter, you will likely need to join a waitlist and might not get to the head of the queue until winter is over.
DELIVERY
We only deliver our briquettes within the ACT region. We have two options for delivery:
1. Rigid truck with a tailgate loader and electric pallet jack. Requires a smooth concrete driveway, with 1:10 slope max.
2. Semi trailer and Manitou forklift (clearance 2.1m high x 2.0m wide): As the Manitou is large and heavy, only delivery to the verge can be guaranteed in residential areas, although we will try to place as close as we can to your storage area. In the worst case, you will need to be prepared to move the briquettes by hand from the verge into storage. In rural areas the size of the Manitou is usually not an issue.
Once you purchase your briquettes we will get in touch with you to find out your delivery preferences.
